_we are literally what we do
We are strategists, entrepreneurs, designers and culture hackers driven by imagination and creative optimism. Our collective expertise pools irreverence, intellect and grit to deliver an unexpected, human-centric, brand experience that intersects commerce and culture.
Along the way we're on the lookout for signals and meaning inside crowd cultures, striving to understand what moves people and ultimately rallies tribes.
_collaboration is our oxygen
Collaboration, the ‘Co’ in ConsumptionCo, drives everything we do - working collaboratively with people, products and projects that we love and believe in.
Our far-reaching relationships across creative, tech and business networks drive powerful insight, ideas and expertise. And our nimble, boutique scale allows us to work closely with internal and external teams. All leading to exceptionally smart, simple and effective work.
_we make things people like, versus making people like things
Through actions, products and meaning, we help brands and organizations of all kinds create and share value with a special focus on health and wellness sectors, culture and education organizations, retail, food and beverage, and property development sectors.
We work comfortably outside our comfort zone - seeking fresh ideas, opportunities and challenges. Human-focused from every perspective, we strive to reveal beauty and meaning everywhere and in everything. Where brand and human are one.

Erik Goldhar
On hockey scholarship to Rochester University, Erik earned his social sciences degrees tending goal between studying psychology and the human condition. He put his skills into action early on at leading global agencies including DoubleClick, Wunderman and Y&R where he worked alongside Barnes & Noble, Lincoln Mercury, P&G and more. At Toronto’s independent, Cap C (where genius thinker, Tony Chapman showed him anything is possible) Erik helped devise and execute disruptive marketing tactics, some of which went viral, reshaping perceptions and curbing stigma.
Today, alongside his creative and digital teams, Erik leads strategy, ideation and execution of big ideas that drive change and award-winning results.
A bit of a futurist, he's bullish both about cryptocurrencies, and unabashedly obsessed with his French-British bulldog, Mimi.

Ted Geatros
Ted’s art and history degrees from University of Toronto made him hungry for even more, moving on to culinary and cultural studies at University of Burgundy and Paris, the U.K. and Culinary Institute of America, New York.
Real world business and brand experience came working alongside marketing visionary, Dave Nichol, where he strategically sparked culture, commerce and design thinking into action for clients from Wegmans and Trader Joe’s to Costco and Safeway. Today he continues to collaborate on business, brand and product ideas and strategies that make deep and lasting human connections.
Ted’s also a contributing writer to Canada’s national newspaper, The Globe & Mail, among others. And as an award-winning product designer and accomplished chef, he proudly deploys as few pans and ingredients possible when he cooks. He's equally big on simplicity as creating joy and delight for collaborators and consumers alike.
